The project called 'Paul's House' is an on going project which was started in the summer of 2015. After looking to get more hands on experience in   environmental projects. I was fortunate to get in contact with a man called Paul. He was looking for volunteers to help him build a house in the beautiful area of Marval (Haute-Vienne Limousin region in west-central France.) The straw bail project was in its very early stages and after I informed him of my interest and area of study, I was able to both work on the project and redesign his initial plans. During a 6 week period we made huge progress using mainly traditional techniques of construction and local resources. Once we had secured the shell, the project was put on hold and will be completed at the end of the summer of 2016.
